The place had a quiet atmosphere.

The hotel was situated in the very central location directly across the sports centre. Moreover, it's short walk to shops, stores and taxis, malls, restaurants, bars, convenience stores and parks, and parks.

The room I stayed in was outdated and not very fresh. The poor soundproofing allowed noise from other guests to disrupt my sleep. The roof-top restaurant was unexpectedly closed , leaving me with no dining options available.

How is it possible that a hotel like new dawn plus can't even provide a fresh room? The bed sheets were not acceptable, and don't even get me started on the buffet breakfast, all halal with limited choices! I almost thought of praising them for something, but the rooftop restaurant being closed really ruined any chance of a good review.

Wi-Fi was fast and free parking was available. Staff forgot my luggage during check-out.

It was just an optimal selection for a brief sojourn in Cagayan de Oro with value for price. The A/C in the room worked perfectly, keeping the space cool and comfortable. Try to avoid the busy breakfast hours to get better seating.

The Standard Twin Room was decent, spacious enough for a couple. I liked that there were plenty of mirrors and outlets, made getting ready easy. The bathroom could use some improvements, though. The water heater was a bit off. It's a nice spot right in the city center, but some electrical issues stood out, like the non-working fridge.
